In celebration of the 2026 World Cup, Japan Day: Ultras Meets Plano is a cultural exchange event connecting Japanese and American soccer communities in Plano, Texas.
Taking place the day before Japan's opening World Cup match against the Netherlands, the event is a special gathering where attendees can enjoy international exchange through soccer, live music, and Japanese cultural experiences. Highlights include Japanese music and performances, an introduction to Japanese supporter culture, and a supporter exchange between ULTRAS NIPPON and FC Dallas supporter group Dallas Beer Guardians, plus a talk session featuring soccer-related guests.
Rather than a match-viewing event, Japan Day: Ultras Meets Plano is presented as a live cultural experience that strengthens the connection between Japan and the City of Plano through the shared passion of soccer.
